As a Texturing Artist, I can showcase my artistic skills and creativity. I get to bring characters, environments, and objects to life by adding textures, colors, and surface details. It’s a chance to express my artistic vision and contribute to the overall aesthetic of the animation. I enjoy the continuous learning process which keeps my work fresh and exciting. I regularly learn new skills, whether it’s mastering the latest software, exploring different texturing styles, or experimenting with innovative approaches.

What was the first project you worked on when you joined Mikros Animation?

Share your student and professional background to get to your position at Mikros Animation!

After high school, I completed a Diploma in Animation from MAAC Chandigarh and got a campus placement at a studio in Hyderabad. That’s where my professional journey began. When I saw a job opening at Mikros, I applied and got it!

Who or what inspires you?

I would say nature inspires me the most. Spending time in nature, whether it’s walking in a forest, sitting by a beach, or hiking in the mountains, has a calming effect on my mind and body. The peacefulness and tranquillity of natural environments provides a respite from the noise and distractions of modern urban life. In this serene setting, I often find clarity, peace, and inspiration for creative thoughts and ideas.

If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?

I would be Orion from Orion and the Dark

Your biggest achievement so far?

I have received client appreciation mails on some of my assets and I have won several Star Performer Awards in my career.

What would be your superpower?

Time compression or expansion so that I can do anything without having to think about deadlines – travel, work, or sleep!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Embrace the journey: understand that success is not solely defined by reaching a specific destination but by the experiences and lessons gained along the way. Embrace the process and enjoy the journey. Celebrate each milestone and find joy in the present moment.
