Today we spotlight Hitesh Prajapati – Senior Assets Artist at Mikros Animation, nominated by Shanze Khan to talk about their first project since joining Mikros, biggest inspirations, superpowers, and gives us an insight into their role at Mikros Animation.
What is the best part of your job?
Animation’s allure lies in its boundless creativity, where imagination knows no bounds. We craft new styles and tell tales that break reality’s limits. Breathing life into characters and shaping worlds is a remarkable privilege. Animation calls us to challenge norms, evolve, and create without limits.
What was the first project you worked on when you joined Mikros Animation?

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce which is complemented by a specialized Animation degree earned at Arena Animation. Over the past decade, my career journey has been deeply immersed in the animation industry. This tenure encompasses a substantial three-year tenure as a CG Generalist followed by a four-year leadership role as a Texturing Team Lead.
Who or what inspires you?
Exploring new places, reading about people’s lives, and tuning into captivating podcasts have ignited my greatest inspirations. The excitement of travel, the insights from biographies, and the engaging stories on podcasts have all added unique colours to my outlook on life.
If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
Sans doute Dark de Orion and The Dark.
Your biggest achievement so far?
A notable achievement of mine involves efficiently managing a complex animation project, ensuring its timely completion and garnering recognition from the client.
What would be your superpower? 
Universal remote control of all living beings.
What advice would you give to your younger self? 
If I were to offer advice to my younger self, it would be to maintain a strong focus on my work while also embracing the opportunity to travel more. Finding this balance early on can lead to enriching experiences, enhanced personal growth, and a broader perspective that can greatly benefit both my career and life journey.
