Mikros Animation Paris’ teams under the Mikroscope! We asked them 8 questions so that you can get to know them, their world and their successes. At the end, they in turn pass the baton to one of their colleagues so that another person can answer the same questions!
Eddy Frechou, our super Modelisation Supervisor at Mikros Animation Paris played the game and also answered the 8 questions:

Share your student and professional path to your position at Mikros Animation!
I spent four years at Isart Digital School and graduated in 2012. I joined Studio 100 almost right after graduation, where I met Emmanuel Chapon who is the person who recommended me for my position at Mikros Animation. I spent 3 years at Studio 100 and then 3 years at Illumination for two feature films and some marketing.
And one day this famous Emmanuel Chapon recommended me to join Mikros Animation as lead modelling on The Tiger’s Apprentice.
What inspires you or who inspires you?
I really like science-fiction universes, everything related to mechanics, cars and technology. I also like the mix of universes like Stargate which mixes ancient Egyptian culture and futuristic, or Black Panther!
If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
If I had to be a Mikros film character I would be Mikey from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem!
Your biggest achievement so far?
My greatest achievement is to have been accepted at Mikros Animation as a lead modelling. It’s never easy to arrive in a new company with new ways of doing things, add to that the management of a team composed of artists who have already worked in the studio, it brings a bit of challenge.
Above all, my greatest achievement is to have succeeded in establishing a climate of trust and a good atmosphere within the team, (if I am to believe the artists’ feedback).
What would be your superpower?
I would like to be able to teleport myself!! To go on holiday in the blink of an eye!
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would say: all these sacrifices will pay off, don’t worry!
It’s your turn to name someone from Mikros Animation Paris, to answer these 8 questions!
Antoine Flottin, it’s your turn!
