Mikros Animation Paris’ teams under the Mikroscope! We asked them 8 questions so that you can get to know them, their world and their successes. At the end, they in turn pass the baton to one of their colleagues so that another person can answer the same questions!
Nominated by Axel Gilet, it’s now the turn of Carla Uroz, Render & Lighting Artist to answer our questions. Here are her answers:
What is the best part of your job?
Meeting new people with every new project I work in. I feel so lucky to have been able to work with such nice people along my career. Everyone has been so kind and helpful.

Share your student and professional background to get to your position at Mikros Animation!
I started studying a combined degree of Audiovisuals and Multimedia. Since the beginning I wanted to specialise in cinematography, so I guess my inner lighter was already there. Then I did a subject about 3D animation and I loved it. After that, I moved to Madrid to study a Master in 3D animation and it was clear that Lighting would be my goal. After that I worked in Madrid, London and AngoulĂŞme and I finally ended in Mikros Animation.
Who inspires you?
People that achieved their goals in life with their own effort.
If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
Patrick from The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run!
Your biggest achievement so far?
Have made my passion a job and enjoying it every day!
What advice would you give to your younger self?
“Don’t stress too much” it’s not worth it 🙂
It’s your turn to name someone from Mikros Animation Paris, to answer these 8 questions!
