Following my childhood passion, I learned Photography and Graphic Design and joined an advertisement agency as a Graphic Designer early in my career. Later I trained in 3D Animation because of my deep desire to enter the Animation industry. I worked as a Character Animator and Animation Team Lead for seven years before joining Mikros Animation.
My nine-year tenure in the Animation department was very enriching in terms of working with great talents on successful shows. I pursued my interest in the technical pipeline and got trained in pipeline development. I was promoted to Pipeline Supervisor and then to CG Supervisor. In this 13-year-long association, this organization has always nurtured my skills and provided me with a great platform for my aspirations.
Who or what inspires you?
From my childhood, I was inspired by photography and visual media.
The veterans in our industry have always been a great inspiration to explore the possibilities of CG Animation.
If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
Kung Fu Panda has some of my character traits, as an ardent foodie…!
Your biggest achievement so far?
The “Eureka Award” presented to me in 2022 provided a great boost to my morale and creativity.
What would be your superpower?
Time travel, so I can go back and forth to fix the troubles I make every day!
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I love my carefree younger self and my journey of ups and downs shaped me into my present self. “Listen to my inner voice” has always been my mantra.
