Mikros Animation Paris’ teams under the Mikroscope! We asked them 8 questions so that you can get to know them, their world and their successes. At the end, they in turn pass the baton to one of their colleagues so that another person can answer the same questions!
It’s now the turn of Agnès Guidi, Production Assistant to answer our questions. Here are her answers:
What is the best part of your job?
For me, the best thing about my job is getting to know so many passionate and welcoming people!Â
What was the first project you worked on when you joined Mikros Animation?
I am working on multiple shows but if there had to be one it would most definitely be Ozi, Voice of the Forest.
Share your student and professional background to get to your position at Mikros Animation!
I started with cinema classes in high school, in continuity I went to college to get a “Licence” and then a “master” in cinema as well at Paris 1 University, then multiple internships and then paid positions in live action shows (mostly in fiction) then I went on to get a certificate in Los Angeles.
After two years, I got back to Paris, found some work in live action for a bit again before I landed in Mikros Animation. Apart from a small experience in a 2D animation company, Mikros really showed me what a 3D movie is and how it is made.
What inspires you or who inspires you?
Working in an industry that I love, on projects I am so excited about, making movies has always been what I wanted to do and being able to do that every day is truly inspiring. Â
If you had to be a character in Mikros Animation’s films and series, who would you be?
That would be Honkus in Ozi, Voice of the Forest, a true friend you can count on and is alway here for a laugh!
Your biggest achievement so far?
Filming with Daniel Radcliffe, a surreal shoot with a script written in half a day, an all inclusive trip to the Corinthia London and getting to meeting an actor that represents so much my childhood!!
What would be your superpower?
Teleportation for sure to avoid metro in the morning and go for a weekend at the end of the world 🙂
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Keep going, you will find your path no trouble!
It’s your turn to name someone from Mikros Animation Paris, to answer these 8 questions!
