With more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Sarankumar Nadamuni has an extensive knowledge in TV content production and craft, working for local India market and for international shows.

He started his career in 1991 as a trainee and freelance fresher assistant for the Tamil television series Uravugal (Relationships), telecasted on Sun TV Network – India. This was the starting point of a 6-year experience in the live action Tamil language TV series production and post-production for Doordharshan Television-India. During this period, Sarankumar was a co-founder of a production house named Victory Creations Pvt. Limited to cater dubbing and postproduction services.

In 2000, Sarankumar moved to animation by joining the studio Pentamedia Graphics Limited-India and worked on three animated movies – Pandavas, Alibaba and Son of Alladin – in Modeling/Texturing/Lighting processes, and then worked as Lead Artist – Modeling/Texturing/Lighting/Animation at Crest Animation Studio on Pigley Wings of Tales – India’s first full length successful 3D-animated series and in Kids10 Commandment, a 2D/3D hybrid animation content produced by Rich Crest Animations, USA.

In 2004, he joined DQ Entertainment as 3D Supervisor and moved soon after to a Senior 3D Production Manager position, which allowed him to gain a 10-year experience in all aspects of the production of animation content and gaming, which he put at the service of international projects when he was hired at Technicolor in 2014 as Producer and Supervising Producer. Since he arrived in the group, Sarankumar worked on multiple shows for the major global studios such as DreamWorks Animation, Walt Disney Television Animation, Nickelodeon, and Technicolor Animation Productions…etc.

In 2021, as Technicolor regrouped all its animation activities under the Mikros Animation brand, Sarankumar was appointed Head of Production of TV Episodic content and the journey goes on.
