MPC Visualization in Los Angeles handled some of the critical 3rd act Previs for DreamWorks’ animated film Orion and The Dark, with the animation completed by Mikros Animation in Bangalore.

MPC’s Visualization team, led by Patrick Smith, Mary Loibl and Katie Hooten, tailored their flexible pipeline to plug-into Mikros pipeline allowing no keyframe to go unused. Previs Supervisor Tyler Thomson and a small but mighty team of talented Visualization artists worked directly with Dreamworks and Mikros to sculpt the sequences and provid the initial visual blueprint that guided the animation work. This collaboration resulted in a cohesive animated feature, showcasing the effective teamwork between MPC and Mikros Animation.
