Mikros Animation Celebrates World Animation Day 2024

Today, on World Animation Day, we’re excited to honor the artists, technical experts, and passionate fans who bring animated stories to life. This day is a special moment for everyone in animation, celebrating an art form that transcends cultures and generations, allowing diverse worlds and stories to come alive on screen.

28 October 2024

In 2024, Mikros Animation has had the opportunity to work on a range of exciting and unique projects.

We collaborated with Netflix on Orion and The Dark, which was released on February 2, 2024, and later presented at FMX 2024 during a dedicated animation conference:

Additionally, The Tiger’s Apprentice premiered on Paramount+ the same day, while Ozi, Voice of the Forest was released in theaters worldwide and continues its rollout across different countries.

We’re also proud to have worked on projects like Thelma the Unicorn and Gus, The Itsy Bitsy Knight, season 2stories packed with humor, courage, and heart. These productions bring universal themes of friendship, self-discovery, and nature to audiences of all ages, embodying our commitment to relatable storytelling.

This year also saw our team recognized at the AEAF Awards for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem – a fresh take on classic characters we loved re-imagining for fans worldwide.

On this special day, Mikros Animation extends our thanks to everyone contributing to animation, within our teams and across the industry. World Animation Day is a time to appreciate the passion, skill, and creativity behind each frame of every animated project, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.

✨ Happy World Animation Day to all, and here’s to the continued power of animation to inspire and connect us all!
