In celebration of Valentine’s Day, we spoke with Mikros talent about how they fell head-over-heals in love with animation, characters that hold a special place in their hearts, and artists that they admire.
Today we’re shining a spotlight on Assistant Project Supervisor, Nerimen GBANE, out of our Paris studio.
How and when did you discover your love for animation?
When I was young enough in primary school, I wondered how the anime I was watching was made and in high school I said to myself that I want to work in the world of animation.
Which artists in the industry do you admire? Who has been your biggest inspiration?
I don’t have any particular artists that I admire but I like to keep an eye on studios. Some studios are bringing new and renewed animation like Sony Pictures Animation, and I appreciate studios that challenge themselves. Of course, Mikros Animation is one of them too. 😉
Which Mikros Animation character do you like the most?
Asterix because it is the character that I think made Mikros Animation famous in the field of 3D animation. Today Mikros Animation has become a major studio in France and in the world!
